Anatomy Lab

Explore a living 3D hand from skin to bone. Peel back fascia, nerves, tendons and muscles, then click a sore spot, or point at it on your own hand through the webcam, to see which structures sit underneath, the most likely causes and practical recovery tips. Hand tracking lets your real hand pose the model, and guided tendon-glide and thumb exercises play out step by step. For learning, not diagnosis.

Explore Hand Atlas

Hand Atlas is a browser experiment in procedural anatomy and hand tracking. Explore the relationships between skin, bones, tendons, muscles, nerves and vessels in an interactive three-dimensional model.

Use the layer controls to explore beneath the skin, try a pose, or enable optional camera tracking to move the model with your own hand. The anatomy and pain-region explanations are educational and are not a diagnosis.
